I started making these brownies from a recipe book I found at Barnes & Noble around 2010. They are my go-to brownies whenever I need to whip up something quick for a party. It also helps that my boyfriend LOVES brownies and these will not go to waste.
First, I would like to apologize for my novice photography skills and would ask you to bear with me through my first post!!
I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!!
Let’s start out with what you’ll need to successfully bake these ooey gooey brownies…

Caramella Moo toffee is something you may not have seen before, but it is a crucial part of this recipe. It will not work without it. Just kidding. It definitely makes the recipe better, and I encourage you to buy it for the recipe (or for late night snacking), but if you can’t and are in a pinch with time restraints, you can also go to your local grocery store and buy toffee bits.
I’m all for making everything from scratch, but for this recipe, I like to use boxed brownie mix. You can use any mix you want, but make sure it is between 16oz (1lb) and 1lb 6oz.

After you bake the brownie layer ~for 10 minutes~, it’s time to add toppings!!

After you have added all the delicious toppings, it’s time for some oven lovin’. How you want the finished product to look will depend on your baking time. I like when they are dark and caramelized, so I leave them in for about 40 minutes or until the whole dang thang is bubblin’. if you want them less caramelized and a little bit gooier, take them out right when the edges bubble and the center isn’t jiggly.
Don’t get too anxious…These should cool for about 2 hours before you dig in.

Full Recipe:
1 box of brownie mix (about 1 lb)
1/3 cup of butter, melted
1 egg
1 package of Caramella Moo toffee (can substitute for 1 cup toffee bits)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease the bottom of a 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray.
2. In a medium or large bowl, combine the brownie mix, chocolate syrup, melted butter, and egg until well blended. I use a fork or a spoon; nothing fancy. Press the brownie batter evenly into the pan and bake for 10 minutes.
3. Top with toffee, chocolate chips, and pecans. then, drizzle the top evenly with condensed milk. Bake 35 to 40 minutes longer until the edges are bubbly and the center is set. (It’s okay if the top looks dark.) Cool completely before cutting.
Did you enjoy this recipe so much that you want to keep it forever? Lucky for you, I have added a printable Recipe!!
